26J saint Josemaría: the saint of ordinary life

Every June 26, the Church celebrates the liturgical feast of St. Josemaría Escrivá, priest and founder of Opus Dei. On the same day, in 1975, he died in Rome after a life dedicated to proclaiming a message that would change the lives of millions of people: we are all called to holiness, even in the midst of the world, through the sanctification of daily work and ordinary tasks.
