Every June 26, the Church celebrates the liturgical feast of St. Josemaría Escrivá, priest and founder of Opus Dei. On that same day, in 1975, he died in Rome after a life dedicated to proclaiming a message that would change the lives of millions of people: we are all called to holiness, even in the midst of the world, through the sanctification of daily work and ordinary tasks. In this 2026, his figure remains a beacon of spirituality for the universal Church.
