Public audience with Pope Francis in St. Peter's Square, the traditional one every Wednesday. The pope walks through the square to greet the pilgrims from an open vehicle. Then, during the meeting there are readings and songs, and the Holy Father gives his blessing to the attendees at the end of the meeting.
This castle of the Roman capital is remembered because it was the tomb mausoleum of the emperor Hadrian. It also served as a fortress and prison for the papal residence throughout history. It is impressive that its origin dates back to 135 AD.
From the impressive Sistine Chapel, site of the conclaves, enjoying the Bramante staircase or the rooms of Raphael, to the Gallery of Maps, the Picture Gallery, the Pio-Clementine Museum, the Gallery of Tapestries or the Gregorian-Egyptian Museum, the Etruscan Museum, the Pavilion of Chariots, all explained by an expert guide and without having to wait in line to enter. A tour divided in two days to visit the most famous squares of the city (Navona, Spagna, Popolo, etc.). Accompanied by an expert guide, we will learn about the most important anecdotes and stories of central Rome and we will also visit the churches in the area: St. Louis, St. Ignatius, Andrea la Valle, Ara Pacis, Pantheon, etc.
The central headquarters of Opus Dei, where St. Mary of Peace is found: the Marian invocation to which the prelatic church of Opus Dei in Rome is dedicated. In its main altar lie the sacred remains of St. Josemaría Escrivá, its founder. In a small crypt under the church, Blessed Álvaro del Portillo and Don Javier Echevarría, the first and second successors of St. Josemaría. In addition to visiting this emblematic place, you will have a unique opportunity to participate in an intimate meeting with Bishop Fernando Ocáriz, current prelate of Opus Dei and grand chancellor of the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross.
Hundreds of priests and seminarians from all corners of the world, from every corner of the world, are priestly formation in Rome. We will have the opportunity to meet them and their stories in three activities:

15:45 h. Departure of Iberia flight IB236 with destination Rome Fiumicino.
18:20 h. Arrival in Rome and transfer to the hotel.

Departure on foot to St. Peter's Square to attend the public audience with Pope Francis. Visit to St. Peter's Square and St. Peter's Basilica. Holy Mass in San Lorenzo in Pisicibus. Visit Castel Sant'Angelo. Lunch in the area of Piazza Navona.
Afternoon. Baroque Rome: Piazza Navona, Spanish Steps, Piazza del Popolo and Trevi Fountain.
Return to the hotel. Dinner at leisure.
Tomorrow. Breakfast at the hotel. Departure on foot to the Vatican to visit the Gardens and Museums with the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Basilica. Lunch in the St. Peter's area.
Afternoon. Continuation on foot and visit of the other most relevant part of Baroque Rome: Ara Pacis, Pantheon; churches of St. Louis of the French, St. Ignatius, Andrea la Valle (celebration of the Holy Mass) and the Gesù.
Return to the hotel. Dinner at leisure.

10:30 h. Tertulia with Msgr. Fernando Ocáriz, Prelate of Opus Dei and Chancellor of the University.
11:30 h. Transfer to the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross.
12:00 h. Views of Rome from the terrace of the University and family photo.

18:00 h. Panoramic tour of Imperial Rome by coach with photo stop outside the Colosseum, Trajan's Column, etc.

14:00 h. Gathering with the rector and testimonies of seminarians.
17:00 h. Free walk in Trastevere, on the west bank of the Tiber and famous for its colorful and medieval houses.
20:00 h. Farewell dinner meeting at a charming restaurant.
