In a journey of contrasts, from the 2,800-3,000 meters of altitude of Quito to the coastal Guayaquil, in Ecuador. In addition to the Andean country, Don Luis traveled to Bogota, capital of Colombia, where he gave a lecture at the Universidad de La Sabana and at the Torreblanca events center.
In one of his meetings, he was able to concelebrate Mass with three bishops, alumni of the PUSC and beneficiaries of the study grants awarded to the university by the CARF Foundation.
On the other hand, on November 25, 2023, the Vatican announced the appointment of Don Luis as a member of the Dicastery for the Laity, Family and Life, by direct decision of the Holy Father Francis. Professor Navarro, who, in addition to being the rector of the PUSC is president of the Conference of Rectors of Roman Pontifical Universities and Institutions (CRUIPRO) will contribute his profound knowledge of Canon Law.
