Francisco José Lucero Obiols is a seminarian of the Archdiocese of Santiago de Guatemala and a student of the Faculty of Theology at the University of Navarra.
"Working in a venture of my own with partners for three years, I kept feeling that something was missing in my life and by asking myself the right questions I discovered what God wanted from me. That's how I entered the seminary.
I was presented to the bishop of my diocese in 2017 as a possible seminary candidate, and he decided that I would do my studies and formation here in Bidasoa and at the University of Navarra.
This year was a year of many blessings and learning. I finished the first two years of Philosophy and I am starting my Theology courses, which I am sure will fill me with a lot of intellectual and spiritual knowledge.
"I continue my formation with great motivation and full of hope in God, grateful for how much He gives me directly and through many people, who both materially and spiritually, are behind me supporting my vocation and my future priestly ministry.
I am very grateful to God for the opportunities that have been presented to me and to you for your great generosity and high commitment to our development and training, I always keep you in my prayers".
