Lengoma Wensceslas Hermann is 38 years old and is a diocesan priest in the Diocese of Franceville, in central Gabon, Africa. He is in his second year of studies in Communication at the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross in Rome.
"Once again, I am grateful for the generosity of many people whose faces I ignore and do not know the name and for whom, however, I have great gratitude for the silent charity they dedicate to me."
For him to study in Rome, in the heart of Christianity, and in a university of great quality is unthinkable. "If I have come this far I must thank the Lord and you, the benefactors, who have become his channel to reflect goodness."
What stands out most about the university is the context and the truly Catholic approach "not to be taken for granted."
"I particularly want to thank you because this generosity will certainly not have been easy, but the fruit of sacrifices and renunciations. I assure you that your efforts will not be forgotten by the Lord, but neither by me nor by the whole community. In our prayers we always remember all the benefactors who silently allow us to live and serve the Lord's plans wherever He calls us".
What does a full scholarship consist of?
More than 800 bishops from all five continents request study grants for their candidates through scholarships. Thanks to benefactors like you, CARF meets most of the requests, but the needs are growing and we want all requests to be met.
