My name is Van Cao Nguyen, a priest of the diocese of Hanoi (Vietnam). I am currently pursuing a degree in Institutional Communications at the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross, after having been trained at the Sedes Sapientiae Seminary, thanks also to your generosity. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you for all you have done for me and all you have given me. I remember you every day and I ask God to bless you always for your generosity and charity towards the Catholic and universal Church and especially towards me and the diocese of Hanoi.
After finishing my formation in Theology at Sedes Sapientiae Seminary in 2019, I returned to Hanoi where I was ordained a priest on December 3, 2020. This academic year, my Bishop decided that I should return to Rome, to the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross to continue my training in Communication. As for this year in Rome, I thank God for having called me to this path and for having given me the opportunity to live this experience. Life at the university is wonderful. We always live in an atmosphere of joy and fraternity that allows us to be enriched by all the cultures of the students.
Once again, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your generosity to me and to the diocese of Hanoi. I will continue to strive every day to make the most of this opportunity you have given me so that I can better serve the Church and all Christians. I keep you always present in my prayers and I ask you also to pray much for me, so that I may be a good and holy priest.
