"My name is Simon John Muhangwa, a citizen of Tanzania by birth, I was born on 20/1/1992, in Magu district in Mwanza region in a family of Mr. John Simon Kija and Felister Valentine Fega who have five children, three boys and two girls. Personally I am the second, I was born in the Catholic family and my parents are very practical Catholics. I started my Primary Education in 1999 at Shamaliwa Primary School and completed it in 2005, then joined regular secondary education in 2006 at Igoma Secondary School, then in 2008 I shifted to Pamba Secondary School and in 2009 I completed my secondary education.

I studied primary and secondary school in Mwanza region, then in 2010 I was selected to join advanced secondary education at Kibiti secondary school in Pwani region, completed studies 2012 and joined Mbeya University of Science and Technology, where I studied a bachelor's degree in civil engineering for four years and graduated in 2016. And in May 2018 I was admitted to work with Tanzania Urban and Rural Roads Agency (TARURA) in Dodoma town as a civil engineer, where through practical experience and legal requirement 91st ordinary meeting of Engineering Registration Board of Tanzania (ERB) which was gaggle 27th JANUARY 2020. I was approved as a Professional Engineer with Registration No 6106.

The story of my vocation. I don't remember exactly when in terms of date and year, but it is true that I loved the life of religious people like the fact that my family was a Catholic family, also praying in the family, but what I remember is this voice of becoming a priest. effective when I was in advanced school in Kibiti where I was in an organization group of young catholic students and I was selected to be a leader, most of my friends were telling me that you deserve to be a priest after a while I start to feel that feeling of attraction and enthusiasm to find the information that could help me to become a priest, I am very grateful for the spiritual help I receive from the parish priest who was close with my school Father Christian Lupindu, after my studies I went back home because it was a boarding school and very far from my city more than 1000 km.

Then I continue with discernment and share that idea with my parish priest of origin Father Bartazar Kesi and Father Andrea Beno Both are Missionaries (Canosian son of Charity) but after the result my parents advised me to first study a University and have more reflection where in university I also found a community of Christians where I was selected to be a Leader as a president (in a university) and in 2014/15 I was selected to be zonal president where I met with a priest who was a chaplain, Father Fidelis Damana ( Misoonary of Africa). This also played a big role in my discernment after completing studies, I returned to my parish and was invited to live in the parish for reflection and discernment, then I joined for work, but that call was still on the side. I started the process to join the diocese of Mwanza and in 2020 I was admitted for formation and the bishop sent me to Spain to study."
