Paulo Bronzato Silva is a priest of the diocese of Botucatu in Brazil.
"I come from a Catholic family where, unfortunately, my parents separated. I grew up with my mother and the rest of my siblings.
Also, I was lucky to have many cousins and all the children together, we would go to Mass. I remember they would let us go alone and for us it was a very fun and joyful time.
Little by little I became more integrated into parish life and catechesis. I began my vocational journey as an acolyte in my parish: Sacred Heart of Jesus.
I entered the Botocatu Seminary and although I felt that I was leaving aside another of my passions: communication, God's call was stronger.
When I finished my training in philosophy and theology, he was assigned to pastoral work first as an assistant in a parish and after my ordination on May 2, 2015, as pastor.
For four years I was a parish priest and helped with various tasks in my diocese, until my bishop decided that I had to come to Rome, to the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross, to continue my training in Canon Law.
I thank you enormously for your generosity and all the good you do for the formation of priests and for the universal Church.
I promise you my continued prayers for you and your families. "
