Jeril Jose belongs to the Major Archdiocese of Ernakulam - Angamaly of Kerala in India. His two elder sisters also felt the call of God and are close to becoming nuns of the Franciscan - Poor Clare congregation.
"Since his school days, he had a strong desire to become a priest and thus work for Christ. This desire led him to join the seminary after completing the tenth level of basic education. He was trained for three years at Sacred Heart Seminary Minor Seminary, Kakkanad; and followed another three years of philosophical studies at St. Thomas Apostolic Major Seminary, Kottayam, Kerala.
At the end of my one-year pastoral experience, my bishop sent me to Rome to continue my formation.".
