"My name is Jeevan Kumar Suravarapu. I am an Indian. The name of my hometown is Rompivalasa, which is in Andhra Pradesh, one of the states of India. I was born on August 24, 1998. I am an only child of my parents. My father's name is Bhaskara Rao Suravarapu, while my mother's name is Parvathi Suravarapu. My father died in 2002 but mother is still alive.

Before my father's death, my family belonged to the Hindu religion, but in 2005, my mother and I converted to Christianity and became Catholics. In the same year I was baptized. My interest in the priesthood developed when I was 13 years old. In 2013, I entered St. John's minor seminary, Eluru. This seminary is located in my diocese.

The name of my diocese is Srikakulam and the name of my bishop is Most. Rev. Rayarala Vijaya Kumar, PIME. I studied in a minor seminary for three years and in 2016 I did a year of spiritual guidance which lasted for another year. After that, I obtained my first degree in History, Economics and Politics from Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University, Srikakulam for three years. In 2020, I enrolled at St. John's Regional Seminary, Vizianagaram. Towards the end of my philosophical studies, I was informed of the possibility of studying Theology here in Rome.

I am grateful to God for the opportunity to study theology here in Rome. I thank my bishop, also the rector and formators of the International Ecclesiastical College Sedes Sapientiae and the Centro Academico Romano Foundation (CARF Foundation)".
