Jakub Jan Ubsz-Piasecki is a priest from Poland (Diocese of Kalisz). He was born in Ostrzeszów, but since 1994 he has lived with his family in Kępno, a town in the south of the Wielkopolska region.
"I was an active participant in the life of my parish.
In 2008 I began my education at the Diocesan Seminary in Kalisz, simultaneously starting Master's studies at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań (the Faculty of Kalisz). I concluded my studies at the Seminary in 2014 achieving the degree of Master of Theology with an outstanding grade. In the same year, on May 24, I was ordained a priest.
In the years 2014 - 2018 I served as parochial vicar in Ostrzeszów and since July 2018 in Stawiszyn.
I was responsible for several parish groups and taught religion classes in elementary and high school.
Since 2018 I have also assisted in pastoral work related to the Extraordinary Form of the Roman Rite in Kalisz.
Since September 2019 I am a student of canon law at the University of Navarra, by the decision of my Bishop and by his generosity."
