This opportunity I received is by God's mercy and blessing.

Name: Garlic Joy.
Age: 27 years old.
Situation: Seminarian.
Origin: Kerala, India.
Study: Theology at the University of Navarra.

"I am Ajo Joy and I belong to the Diocese of Quilon, Kerala, India. I was born on February 13, 1998. And I am the only son of my parents, Joy and Ancy. I entered the seminary when I was 15 years old.

My mother died the day after I entered the seminary. She had cancer, but she wanted me to choose my life, and I believe I have been chosen by Christ.

Now I am here in Spain to do my theological studies at UNAV. I am very grateful to my parents who show me the way to this great life.

I entered the seminary after finishing my high school. After joining I continued my higher studies. After completing my higher studies I did my graduation in English Literature from the University of Kerala. I then continued my philosophical studies and pursued them at Sacred Heart Major Seminary, Chennai, Tamilnadu, India. After that, when I returned to my diocese to do my pastoral ministry in the bishop's house and minor seminary of my diocese, then my bishop asked me to come here to Spain to continue my theological studies.

What I believe is that this opportunity I received is by the Mercy and blessing of God. And I am very grateful to the people who support us in the process of our formation. I think this is one of the greatness of God.

I am most grateful for your kindness in supporting our discernment. And I assure you of my daily prayers along with this thank you all."
