Edwin Ojwang Abudho is a priest of the diocese of Kisumu in Kenya. He was born in the western part of the country, near Lake Victoria.
He owes the birth of his vocation to a missionary priest from the Netherlands, whom he met when he was 14 years old. The life of this priest was so exemplary that it inspired him to become a good and holy priest like him. He admired the missionary for his strict discipline and his daily routine in which he prayed the Rosary every day at the same time in his house, where he gathered all the boys.
I was ordained a priest in 2013 and after various responsibilities as assistant pastor and parish priest in my diocese, my bishop, Msgr. Philip Anyolo, decided to send me to Rome to continue my training in Dogmatic Theology.
"This experience and this specialization has deeply renewed my faith. I pray for you at each daily Holy Mass so that I can reciprocate all the good you do me by supporting my formation at the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross."
