My vocation has always been linked to my father's question about what I wanted to be when I grew up.

I am Cresencio Hernandez Cruz, I was born on November 24, 1994, in Tabasco, Mexico. I belong to the diocese called the Diocese of the Lord of Tabasco. My family consists of my parents, my sister and me. My vocational restlessness had beginnings in my first years of adolescence, I consider that the starting point of my vocation has always been with the question that my father asked me about what I wanted to be when I grew up, my immediate answer was to be a priest; as time went by my ideals took other interests, such as being a great professional. The aspiration of the priesthood was taken up again at the age of seventeen, when my pastor invited me to participate in a vocational experience. In August 2013 I entered the Diocesan Seminary with the conviction that God was calling me. I arrived in Rome in August 2019, currently studying the third year of theology at the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross.
