"First of all, receive a greeting of peace and fraternity from God our Father, always wishing you that he himself may bless your lives and the work you carry out for the formation of so many priests and seminarians.
My name is Carmelo Figueredo Quispe, a Bolivian priest of the Diocese of Coroico, with few priests, but with a people willing to know God. I come from a simple family, we are 4 siblings, I am the third, my parents are already in heaven, may they rest in peace. My vocation was through the difficult situation we lived in, alone with my mother. When I was thirteen years old my father passed away, my mother had to struggle to get us through. After doing my military service, I felt the call of the Lord.
In 2003 I entered the Major Seminary of the Holy Spirit "Espada" Sorata Bolivia, in the propaedeutic course. Then two years of philosophy and four years of theology. I received the sacrament of Holy Orders from the hands of Bishop Juan Vargas. It was a beautiful gift from our Creator. Then I accepted the assignment of my bishop to form myself a little more in order to collaborate with the diocesan tribunal of my diocese, that is why I was sent to study Canon Law at the University of Navarra.
I am grateful that you have helped me during this period of my bachelor's degree, for the trust you have placed in me by collaborating economically with my formation. I truly feel fortunate for this act of charity that you gave us, and that allows us to commit ourselves more to our dioceses in the fulfillment of the mission that the Lord entrusted to his Church.
I reiterate my greetings and bid you farewell with a grateful heart".
