Aurelius Capariño Mendoza belongs to the Diocese of Masbate in the Philippines. He has two brothers, one older and one younger and both are married.
In 2014, he entered St. Anthony High School Seminary and a year later entered Sedes Sapientiae Formation House Seminary. He finished his formation in philosophy in 2017 at the seminary in Naga City, on another island 200km. from his home in Masbate.
That same year, 2017, his bishop decided to send him to Pamplona to finish his training in Theology.
"In three years here in Spain I have learned many things, especially the spirituality of St. Josemaría Escrivá, which helps me a lot in my priestly formation."
What does a full scholarship consist of?
More than 800 bishops from all five continents request study grants for their candidates through scholarships. Thanks to benefactors like you, CARF meets most of the requests, but the needs are growing and we want all requests to be met.
