"Dear Brothers:
First of all, please receive a cordial greeting of blessing in the joy of the Risen Christ, wishing you prosperity in all the work you do for the good of the Church, especially in the formation of seminarians and priests.
My name is Rogelio Rivera diocesan priest of the Diocese of El Alto-Bolivia. In 2018 I began a new stage in my academic formation, by order of my Bishop Monsignor Eugenio Scarpellini, unfortunately deceased in July 2020 because of COVID-19, I was sent to the University of Navarra to pursue a degree in Canon Law, a task that I completed favorably in May 2021. In September 2022 I began my doctoral studies, focusing my research on canon criminal law.
I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the help you have given me, I know that behind you there are many noble people who bet on priests, who want to see them formed so that they can accompany their communities in the best way, I also know that many deprive themselves of some things to share with us, I really take that into account, so I try to make the most of all academic, community and pastoral opportunities from which I benefit, rest assured that I always pray for all those who support us.
Without further ado, I bid you all a fraternal farewell and ask you to continue to carry out this noble work for the good of our Church, for the good of our priests.
