"My little story "study to love, love to serve". My name is Euphrem Audrey Hasimana . I was born on May 18, 1984 in Morondava (Madagascar), son of Henri Boto and Lydia Razafindraivo. I have a brother named Miary Yvon Séraphin. He is also a priest of my diocese (Morondava). He fulfills a mission in the meeting as an assistant pastor. I am the first (elder brother) of two (02) brothers and four (04) sisters. So we are seven. We live in Androvakely, a small village 15 kilometers from the center of our diocese.

Our family is Christian and animates well the church of this village. I was baptized on November 1, 1985. I made my First Communion on June 4, 1997. I received the sacrament of Confirmation on November 18, 2001. In September 2002, I entered St. Peter's minor seminary of our diocese. After three years of studies at St. Peter's high school, I received my diploma in 2007. Our bishop sent me to the preparatory seminary (Toliara-Madagascar) in the years 2007-2008 where I lived the time of vocational discernment. In the years 2008-2011 I did the philosophical cycle at the major seminary of St. John the Baptist in Vohitsoa Fianarantsoa, and continued with Philosophy for two years at the University of Toliara where I obtained my bachelor's and master's degrees. And the following year I did pastoral internship in Ankilivalo district (Morondava diocese). In the years 2014-2017 I did my theological studies at the major seminary of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus in Antananarivo (capital of Madagascar). And on July 16, 2017 was my diaconate ordination in the parish of St. Giovanni Paolo II in Morondova. In the same year 2017, my bishop (Msgr. Marie Fabien Raharilamboniaina) sent me to Rome to study (Philosophy).

August 5, 2018 was my priestly ordination along with the diaconate ordination of my brother Miary Yvon Séraphin. I am now continuing my doctoral studies with the help of the CARF Foundation. I believe that studying in Rome corresponds to the vision of our diocese because it needs a priest who prays, who is formed, who is open, who gives priority to complete education. Now I live in the priestly college Altomonte where I live and experience the universality of the Church. And I am happy to have this grace. This situation is above all an opportunity of integral formation to be able to respond to the call of Christ Jesus to the service of his Church, for which it is necessary to "study to love, love to serve".
