"I was born on October 16, 1998 in Villa Benito Juarez, Mac. Tabasco, Mexico. My parents are José Luis and María Ofelia. I have a sister: Melina. And my brother Juan Daniel, may God bless him.
I grew up in a Catholic family that showed me how to walk in faith. As a family we visited the Blessed Sacrament every Monday. On Thursdays and Sundays we participated in the Eucharist. With my family I learned to value the meaning of Thursday: as a priestly day. I was a boy who participated in catechesis, adolescent group, etc. My longing in life was to be a person who would help a lot of people. The option was to be a doctor, but not a priest. At various times I was even invited to be an altar boy, but my answer was no. In fact, my brother wanted to be a priest. In fact, my brother wanted to be a priest.
In moments of personal reflection I realized that something was missing, that I was not entirely happy. It was until one moment I thought: what if I try to become a priest? I entered the minor seminary at the age of 14, where I took my first formative steps. At the beginning it was very difficult, but then I found great friends, who have now become my brothers, although they do not continue in formation.
I know that seminary life not only forms us, but also makes us form a family. On several occasions I have been asked why I entered the seminary at such a young age, but I can say that my vocational story has no date and place, but rather, it is born of the testimony of my parents: their love for the Eucharist. Because of this, I have discovered that the only way to truly love is to love Christ. Consecrating my life to others is the way I can manifest my great love for Christ. He is the source of my vocation.
I thank you all for your prayers and contributions. I keep you in my prayers. God bless you. Thank you.
