"I am José Francisco Pérez Alejandro, and my story begins in the small ranchería of El Tular, in Mexico, where I saw the light of the world 31 years ago. From my earliest memories, faith has been a constant and fundamental presence in my life, shaped by the profound influence of my family.

For as long as I can remember, I have had a special affection for St. John Paul II. His experiences and teachings left a deep impression on my heart and, in a way, sowed the seeds of my vocation as a priest. It was in this way that I discovered that God was calling me to the priesthood, a path that I began in the seminary of my diocese.

However, my journey towards priestly formation was greatly enriched when the CARF Foundation extended its generous hand to me. Their unconditional support opened the doors to continue my formation at the University of Navarra.

In this academic institution, I have had the privilege of receiving a high quality education, both intellectually and spiritually. This experience has been essential for my growth and development as a future priest.

I am deeply grateful for the opportunity I have been given and fervently long to continue to grow in my vocation. My purpose is clear and firm: to serve God and the community with devotion and love. Every day, I feel strengthened by the faith that has accompanied me since childhood, which has been growing day by day with the personal encounter with God, and by the generous support I have received on my path to the priesthood."
