God's plans were different from mine.

Name: Fabián Alejandro Vásquez Jiménez
Age: 30 years
Situation: Seminarian
Origin: Punto Fijo, Venezuela
Study: Studying Theology at the Bidasoa International Seminary in Pamplona.

I left my job as a computer scientist to fulfill God's will.

Fabian Alejandro Vasquez Jimenez is a seminarian of the Diocese of Punto Fijo in Venezuela and is the younger of two brothers.

"I come from a family with deep-rooted Christian values, who instilled in me the faith and a deep love for God, the Virgin and the Church since I was a child. I grew up like any other child of my time, attending elementary school and high school.

At the end of this stage of academic training, in the midst of some vocational concerns, I decided to pursue higher studies in the area of science and technology, managing to complete this career by obtaining a degree in Computer Science. This fact opened the doors to several job opportunities which I did not miss.

But God's plans were different from mine. Those vocational concerns became more acute, until I decided to leave everything and enter the seminary, seeking to fulfill God's will in my life.

"I want to express my deepest gratitude for the prayers you offer for the increase, perseverance and fidelity of priestly vocations. On the other hand, it is worth noting all the dedication and effort you make, so that many can have the necessary resources to pay for their studies and in this way help God's plan in his Church to be carried out.

I will offer my most humble prayer to God for each of you who do this praiseworthy work for the formation of priests according to the heart of God".
