Harold Gabriel Lanuza Zambrana, was born in the department of Granada, Nicaragua. He grew up on Zapatera Island in Lake Cocibolca with his five siblings. He studied elementary school in his county and high school at a distance in the city. In January 2016, by the call of God, with a desire to fulfill his will and on the recommendation of his parish priest, he entered the seminary of his diocese. First in the St. Vincent de Paul Propaedeutic Seminary and later in the Major Seminary of St. Peter.
"We started 18 boys in my course from all over the diocese and in these five years that we have been on the road to priestly formation we still persevere six, three are in formation in the seminary of origin, Granada, and, thanks to you and your help, we are three in this beloved Bidasoa seminary, which is a family because of your affection".
Following the wishes of his bishop, he continued his studies in the Faculty of Theology at the University of Navarra and at the Bidasoa International Seminary. He does all this "with joy and dedication, with the grace of God and your prayer, overcoming the challenges of the road".
"In a spirit of gratitude and humility I want to say THANK YOU for your support for the formation of us, future priests of the Church of Christ. THANK YOU for helping us to know Christ and the Church better through our studies and thus to configure our hearts to that of Christ, High and Eternal Priest.
You are always in my prayers and I place you in the hands of our Mother Mary. May she lead you to Jesus, our Savior and Lord, THANK YOU!"
