Edgar Ponce is a young priest from Sámar del Norte, in the Philippines, and incardinated in the diocese of Catarmán, which gives its name to the capital of this region of the Asian country. At 31 years of age, he has been a priest for four years now and while he is working on his doctoral thesis at the University of Navarra from the Philippines, he is engaged in numerous pastoral tasks entrusted to him by his bishop, many of which are related to his high intellectual value.
