"The desire to become a priest came from the experience of having a girlfriend. At that time, I wanted to do and sacrifice anything for her. Then, one day I asked myself: Do I want to do and sacrifice anything for God more than I have done for her? Since that question arose in my heart, I realized that the basis of all that is Love. So I decided to show my love to God by doing and sacrificing everything I have, even separating from my ex-girlfriend at that time to follow the Lord.

At that time, the best way I found to be able to do that was to give myself to be a priest. However, I didn't know how to do that. Around the same time, in my church there was a seminarian, who is now a priest, who at that time was helping in my parish. When he learned that I wanted to become a priest, he visited my home to give me the information I needed about the process of becoming a priest.

I found out about Seminary. Finally, after finishing my studies in Junior High School, I continued my Senior High School at the Junior High School Seminary. The Junior High School Seminary is a boarding school created for the specific purpose of enrolling teenagers who have expressed interest in becoming Catholic priests. That is where my priestly formation began in Minor Seminary when I was 15 years old. After three years in Minor Seminary I continued to Propaedeutic Seminary as a diocesan seminarian.

After two years in propaedeutic, the Holy Spirit, through my bishop, chose me and sent me to Spain to study Sacred Theology at the University of Navarra, and to do priestly formation at the Bidasoa International Ecclesiastical Seminary. I am very happy to be able to study here.
