The history of its vocation as a priest<\/a> was born in the simplicity of his childhood and grew, step by step, through formation, service and direct contact with the suffering of his people. This same vocation became, now that he is a priest, not only to continue to feel the call to serve God, but also the responsibility to respond to the clamor of a Church and a nation that need prepared guides, capable of transforming hope into a concrete commitment to the service of the common good of the whole of society. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lomboto is in his first year of training for a degree in Canon Law at the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross (PUSC) in Rome, thanks to the support of benefactors and friends of the CARF Foundation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is his testimony: \u00abMy name is Patrick Lokilo Lomboto. I come from a family of six brothers and I grew up in a humble environment where my faith deeply marked my life from a very early age. From my childhood I already showed signs of my vocation: I used to improvise myself as a \u201clittle priest\u201d, using my mother's clothes as a chasuble and, with local products, I celebrated my \u201cmass\u201d imitating the priest\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
