Each April 25<\/strong>, the Catholic Church dresses up to celebrate the feast day of St. Mark's<\/strong>, one of the four evangelists who, inspired by the Holy Spirit, wrote down the life, Passion, Death and Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The figure of St. Mark is central to understanding the essence of our faith. His Gospel, considered by scholars to be the oldest of the four, is a vibrant, direct and action-packed account that invites us to discover the identity of Jesus as the Son of God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In this article we want to approach the life of this early saint; to explore the characteristics of his sacred text in the light of the Magisterium of the Church<\/a> and the teachings of St. Josemar\u00eda<\/a>. We will reflect on how his figure today is driving the formation of priests<\/a> worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
