Born in Le\u00f3n (Spain), January 13, 1956. Priest.<\/p>\n

Degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Santiago de Compostela and Associate Professor in the Department of Systematic Theology at the University of Navarra. Professor of Ecclesiology and Pastoral Theology as well as advisor in faith education.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

Education and Christian humanism<\/h2>\n

The covid-19 pandemic has posed new and important challenges at the educational level. A process of renewal of the religion curriculum was already underway in different countries, in accordance with increasingly international and globalized requirements. To this must be added, as far as the Catholic Church is concerned, the publication of the third edition of the Directory for Catechesis (March 2020) and the establishment of the instituted ministry of catechists (May 2021).<\/p>\n

In an environment of social and religious pluralism, the Christian perspective contributes to an authentic ethical and educational globalization in our digital culture. It makes possible a new existence, which is accompanied by the seeds of a new earth, of a new world.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Don Ramiro Pellitero organized this book in three parts:<\/p>\n

  1. Presents the need for educational action<\/strong> that promotes the integration of the person in his or her own growth and maturation.<\/li>\n
  2. Sample the centrality of Christ in a Christian-inspired education<\/strong> that aspires to be coherent. Therefore, it must be consistent with the educational dimensions of faith.<\/li>\n
  3. It specifies some objectives and means within the framework of the new evangelization.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    This book aims to show how the Christian message contributes to humanize the world in a horizon of beauty and hope.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n
