\"I am John Mark Mijares from the Philippines from the Diocese of Catarman. I am the first of my siblings. I have 5 siblings, we are a big family. Life is difficult especially in my country. My father is Jonathan Mijares who is an electrician and my mother is Marites Mijares, she has no job.<\/p>\n
I am very grateful for the support they have given me. This is my last year here in Pamplona. It has been a very good and enriching formation. I have learned many things in Bidasoa, but especially the spiritual life which is very important. Every day we carry you in our prayers.<\/p>\n
My vocation has been well taken care of during my stay here in Bidasoa. The priests and formators are doing well as well as the spiritual directors. That work has inspired me to do the same when I am in priestly ministry in my country.
\nAlso my bishop is very grateful to you because several priests have already been here and are now working in the ministry in my diocese. My bishop is very happy, thank you very much.<\/p>\n
In a year's time I will be ordained a deacon and, God willing, in a while a priest. So I am happy and content.<\/p>\n
Besides, I am already in my 9th year of seminary because you know that, before coming here, I studied philosophy in my country. The preparation is long, but it is worth it. It is worth it to offer my life to the Lord in the work for the faithful.
