He was ordained a priest on March 25, 2011.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\"I am the second child of six siblings and we were all raised with Catholic principles and I was always close to parish life.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> After completing my elementary and high school studies in schools in the city, I entered the Major Seminary of my Archdiocese where I advanced my philosophical and theological studies.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After priestly ordination I have rendered my priestly services as follows: in 2011 I was vicar of the Cathedral parish until 2013; from this year I was parochial vicar of Mary Help of Christians until 2015; then I was appointed pastor of St. Francis of Assisi from 2016 until the present year. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Since 2013 I have been the Episcopal Delegate for the Pastoral Care of Children and Youth Ministry.  I have accompanied since 2012 a family movement called Teams of Our Lady, being a consiliary of a team of couples.\"<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\"<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is with immense joy that I express my deepest gratitude to God through you for allowing me to experience this opportunity of formation in Canon Law, a study that has made me see our ecclesial reality from a different point of view. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I am grateful for the opportunity to be enriched by the cultural exchange of my companions, from Equatorial Guinea to Poland, priests from whom I have enjoyed what the Universal Church is all about.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I pray for you that the Master will reward your immense generosity to us with salvation, and I pray that many will join in this noble cause of accompanying the clergy in their academic formation.\"<\/span><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Carlos Andr\u00e9s Pinz\u00f3n Castillo es un sacerdote de la di\u00f3cesis de Ibagu\u00e9, en Colombia.
