\u00abMy name is Padre, and I am a diocesan priest originally from Cameroon, ordained on January 30, 2016. My life has been marked from the very beginning by a joyful precariousness: on the day I was born, my father lost his job, but Providence did not prevent me from receiving an education or from discovering my calling to the priesthood during my childhood.\u201d.<\/p>\n
After enrolling at the Petit S\u00e9minaire Saint Michel in Melong, I had to interrupt my studies due to a lack of financial resources, a situation that worsened two years later with my father\u2019s death. However, thanks to my older sister\u2019s hard work and sacrifice in finding a job, I was able to complete my education at the Minor Seminary and the Major Seminary.<\/p>\n
As a deacon and later as a priest, I carried out my first ministry in the rural parish of St. Paul in Nkondjock amid severe material deprivation\u2014a demanding experience, yet one rich in spiritual fulfillment. Later, my bishop entrusted me with the pastoral care of an English-speaking community in Bafang, as well as the leadership and chaplaincy of St. Paul and St. Mary\u2019s schools, where I served for three years in a bilingual and multicultural setting.<\/p>\n
In order to further my preparation for service to the local Church, I was sent to Rome, where I am currently pursuing my doctoral studies. Experiencing the historical richness and universality of the Church in the capital of Christendom\u2014living alongside priests from various continents and participating in the life of the Curia and major Church celebrations\u2014deeply enriches both my life and my ministry.<\/p>\n
