I left the university to work and help my family, but I received God's call and entered the seminary.

Name: Erick Fernando Alvarado Funes
Age: 31 years old
Situation: Seminarian
Origin: Castrense of El Salvador
Study: Studying Theology at the Bidasoa International Seminary in Pamplona.

I wish to continue my formation to become a good priest.

Erick Fernando Alvarado Funes belongs to the military diocese of El Salvador.

His family circle consists of his mother, who is a seamstress, and his maternal grandmother; he is also an only child.

"I began my basic education studies at 4 years of age, at the Popotlán School, in the municipality of Apopa. I continued through seventh grade at the Centro Escolar de Popotlán, eighth, ninth, and fifth grades.
at the Liceo Mariano San Juan Bosco high school in Apopa.

I started college in 2008, but unfortunately, due to my family's economic instability, I had to drop out in 2010 to go to work. However, I felt the call to the priesthood and in 2016 I entered the seminary.

I had always been an active member of my hometown parish, holding positions as a youth animator and formator and also in liturgy ministry."

"Thank God and thank you for the great work you are doing for the good of the Church. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support and I wish with all my heart that God will repay your generosity.

Thank you for all the good you do for our Universal Church!"
